1. Consumerism.

Consumerism is a lie.

This seems obvious, but buying a bunch of shit that you don’t need and paying for it with wages fro ma job that you hate is the definition of insanity.

Yet, we are convinced that this is the only way to live life by marketers from an early age. It is very difficult to break out of as a mindset, but it can be done.

We buy things that we don't need to impress people that we don’t even like so that we could just continue the cycle indefinitely.

2. Being a “nice guy.”

Being a “nice guy” is a lie.

This is probably one of the most important points to discuss.

The lie that pleasing others, often at the expense of yourself, is a path to happiness.

That’s not how this works.

I would personally rather be hated rather than being known as the guy who is nice. Fuck being a nice guy because, in my opinion, it’s more of an insult than it is a compliment.
