10 Ways To Change The Trajectory Of Your Life

1. Think in 3-month time frames.

Focus your efforts in context to improvement within the time frame of 3 months.

Believe it or not, an immense amount can change in this time frame of 3 months with the caveat that you develop the following qualities:

Focused Attention:

Nothing gets accomplished without focused attention.

The ability to focus and guide one’s attention is a skill that the majority of people have lost within modern society because distraction is ubiquitous.

The default state for most now is that of distraction which is great news for you because that means you have a competitive edge.

The bar is set so low for the majority that it doesn’t take much effort to rise above the crowd.

Disciplined Action:

Self-discipline is the mother of all great achievement.

If you lack self-discipline, then you lack the ability to exert yourself within the world and do what needs to get done.

Self-discipline is supposed to be difficult to practice, at first. Over time though, you acquire the taste for it and learn to embrace it because you develop a deep understanding of how powerful its rewards are.

Above all, do the things that you know you need to get done with relentless intent.

Do not underestimate your ability to exert your force and will upon your situation because you can become a totally new person in a few months of focused effort.

If you want to focus on your health, focus on it exclusively for 3 months.

If you want to improve your relationship quality, focus on it exclusively for 3 months.

If you want to focus on growing your wealth, focus on it exclusively for 3 months.

2. During this 3-month time frame, focus on ONE area only.

You will gain the most benefit from focusing exclusively on just one area of your life within this 3-month time frame.

This means that you must learn how to prioritize which is a skill that many people grossly ignore.

I highly suggest that you pick the most dysfunctional area within your life to focus your efforts and energy on.

As I mentioned, a lot can change in a few months. But, this change can only occur if you are deeply focused on just one area of your life.

This doesn’t mean that you neglect other areas. Instead, it means that you prioritize that one area and maintain all other facets of your life.

For example, if you are unhealthy, then your sole job is to improve your health for the next 3 months. Health is the priority and everything else falls under that priority for the time being until you achieve a good state of health and can maintain it.

3. Put aside $1,000 in an emergency fund and pay off all debt.

The majority are terrible with money and have an unhealthy relationship with it as a domain.

You can become different from the majority, but it will take some work on your part.

Put aside $1,000:

Believe it or not, most people do not have this amount of money to their name, let alone saved to the side for an emergency expense.

Most people cannot even afford an unexpected $500 expense which is absolutely astonishing.

Once you have this amount set aside, build it up to 3–6 months of living expenses and you will work yourself into the top 0.1% of the population.

Pay off all debt:

The status symbol of today is not having any debt.

The vast majority are drowning in debt and suffering the mental and physical consequences from such decisions.

Be relentless in your ability to pay off all debt and avoid it in the first place.

4. Learn a valuable skill.

Let me share my own experience with this lesson.

Two years ago, I was not skilled at writing. But, over time in combination with consistent practice, I became pretty competent at it.

Now, I get paid to write down my thoughts. Granted, I am not making a full-time income yet, but I am slowly but surely getting there.

I developed the skill of writing over that two year time frame by practicing it on a daily basis.

This is what you will have to do as well if you want to increase your value to the marketplace.

Pick a skill:

Choose one skill and decide to commit to it over the long term.

There are a countless number of skills that you have the potential to learn.

Practice that skill on a daily basis:

There is no way around the daily practice.

I personally committed to writing a minimum of 500 words on a daily basis and this has made all the difference in my ability to express my thoughts onto the digital paper.

Practice your skill, every single fucking day. If you miss a day, get back on track immediately.

5. Develop the skill of self-discipline.

Self-discipline is the one skill that you can leverage in order to achieve the results that you desire.

Without self-discipline, nothing great or worthy of note gets achieved.

Self-discipline is actually pretty simple, yet difficult for most to execute on because they haven’t developed the skill out of neglect.

Self-discipline comes down to doing the simple things in a very consistent manner, nothing more and nothing less.

Doing the dishes

Writing 500+ words per day

Eating nutritious foods

Sleeping 7–8 hours per night

Cleaning your room

Sharing words of love to your friends and family

Creating something on a daily basis instead of consuming

If done on a consistent basis, you are acting from a place of self-discipline. Do this over a long period of time and you become a self-disciplined individual.

Self-discipline translates into every facet of your life and creates an unimaginably positive impact within those areas. Being self-disciplined in one area naturally translates to the same behaviour in other areas.

6. Sleep for 7–8 hour per night.

You have probably heard that sleep is extremely important, but even when most hear this, they underestimate just how powerful this habit really is.

The vast majority are living their lives from a place of sleep deprivation because they completely and grossly neglect their quality of sleep.

The key to getting high-quality sleep is going to bed at the right time and waking up at the right time, consistently.

Firstly, set bedtime that you maintain concrete discipline in. For example, I am always in bed by 10:45 PM at the latest.

Secondly, set a wake time that you are consistent with. As another example, I always get up at 6:40 AM, regardless of the day.

I stick to this schedule 98% of the time and when I don’t, I do so on the rare occasion.

Sleeping is really the foundation of your life and energy. Neglect it at your own expense.

7. Become a creator.

There are two different kinds of people in the world — creators and consumers.


Creators, by definition, are prolific in the act of turning nothing into something.

They have trained themselves to view and act within the world from the perspective of production. They produce art that comes in a countless number of different shapes and forms.

Creators write.

Creators paint.

Creators play a sport.

Creators produce an income from the development of skills.

Creators act in a manner that actively chases one’s potential within the world.


Consumers, by definition, are people who consume more at the expense of creating.

The consumers within life are abundant and ubiquitous as they can be seen within all facets of life.

The consumers shop the most.

The consumers are always the ones to complain about something.

The consumers are usually the ones who are victim-minded.

The consumers do not tap into their innate reservoir of infinite creativity.

In order to really upgrade the quality of your life, you will need to make the transition from mostly consumer to mostly creator and producer.

You will not achieve your goals from the perspective of the consumer because this type of character is not willing nor able to do the necessary things and practice self-discipline.

In order to make this transition, you will need to do the following:

Create something, every single day.

I don’t give a shit if you are only able to write 200 words per day as a writer, start creating the habit of being able to write.

I don’t care if you can draw for 5 minutes, draw regardless.

You will need to create every single day so that you can begin to transform your identity into that of the creative archetype.

Identify as a creator.

Start to view yourself as a creator and begin the process of viewing your life from such a perspective.

Your identity is the foundation upon which all of your results are created.

Study other prolific creators.

In order to get into the perspective of a prolific creator, you will need to surround yourself with them, both physically and digitally.

Start to observe how they move throughout the world.

Observe how they interact with others and themselves.

Observe how they think and respond to a situation.

Observe what kind of habits they engage in to cultivate their creative spirit.

If you become a creator, you will win.

8. Become crystal clear about your next step.

In order to effectively achieve our goals, we must move through the process in a step by step manner.

If we can focus on the step in front of us, then the future will take care of itself.

So, what is your next step?

How will you proactively take action on that next step?

How are you going to embody strategic intent?

Become crystal fucking clear about what you are going to do next, within the present moment. By doing so, you avoid all forms of being overwhelmed and enjoy the process that much more as you strive toward your goal.

9. Dress well.

Dressing well is an interesting phenomenon because it literally allows you to feel a boost in self-confidence.

You embody confidence by wearing clothes that are well-fitted and look great. Essentially, you embody excellence through your choice of wardrobe.

This feeling of excellence translates into every other facet of your life such as with attracting women, meeting people, making genuine connections with business, the list goes on.

Learn how to dress well and make yourself look like a God.

10. Act abundantly to receive abundance.

In order to become abundant, you must act abundantly before you can ever attain that label.

In order to become scarce, you must act scarcely.

This is a universal principle within the life of every human being.

One practical way in which I have made the transition from scarcity to abundance is by tipping others extremely well. Not only does this sub-communicate abundance to my subconscious, but it also makes me feel amazing because of the fact that I am being of service and sharing well.

Practically, start giving more your money away and you will watch it come back with even more abundance.


All 10 of these mental and physical upgrades have immense potential.

I suggest that you focus exclusively on one in the beginning and learn the lessons that come with the experience. Once you have gotten a good handle of that domain, move on to the next.

Do not discount the power of this list in its ability to influence the trajectory of your life because it can make all the difference.
