Many of you struggle with taking practical and concrete action on the things that you would like to improve in your lives.

I have a solution.

Here it is:

Ask yourself the following…

Question #1: What 2 or 3 actions must I be doing that I am putting off?

This will allow you to gain clarity in terms of what it is that you are avoiding.

If you don’t know this then you will always be lost.

Question #2: What pain am I associating with taking these actions?

When we procrastinate, we associate pain with the behavior that we are procrastinating on.

Gaining clarity over why you are avoiding those actions is essential.

Question #3: What pleasures have I received from not taking action?

Believe it or not, we also gain pleasure from procrastinating.

Question #4: What is the cost of not following through with taking action?

We all incur costs whenever we choose to do something or not do something.

Your ability to understand the costs that you are paying will allow you to make some serious changes when it comes to what you are doing within your day to day life.

That’s it. Do this for every area where you procrastinate and you will start to see changes in your behavior and mindset.
