“You may delay, but time will not, and lost time is never found again.” — Benjamin Franklin

Procrastination.

Why do you experience it?

This article will speak on the seven enemies that destroy your potential, enthusiasm, and results.

Enemy #1: Habit.

People procrastinate because it’s what they’ve always done.

When an important task comes into focus, you don’t treat it like a big deal because the momentum of habit subconsciously controls you.

It’s crucial to take control of your habits, and the only way to do that is to develop an awareness of what you do.

Habits either work for or against you.

Enemy #2: Poor Self-Esteem.

Deep down, you don’t believe in yourself. No will. No confidence.

Why would you confront the work if you have already programmed yourself to fail?

Deep down, you understand that you’re not confident enough to follow through and take action. You are caught up in a vicious cycle of negative thinking and defeatist mentality.

Enemy #3: Negative Association.
