What Fasting Can Teach Us About Ourselves

As we speak, I’m currently on hour …… of fasting. My goal is to accomplish 120 hours of fasting or 5 total days. This will be my longest fast by far as my previous best was just a little over 50 hours.

Fasting has a lot to teach us in the modern world, especially for those who haven’t done it (most people). We already know that fasting has some unbelievable benefits for the human body, especially for a body that is in dis-ease. I will provide some of those fasting benefits below. But, fasting has some other components to it that help allow us to grow personally and strengthen the spirit.

Besides the health benefits, what can fasting do for us?

Fasting not only provides the body with great health benefits but it also helps us on our journey of personal development. Here are some of the benefits:
