The Fear Of Being Single

A common theme and fear that I have observed lately is the fear of being single. This has always been outside of my perspective because I have always enjoyed alone time with myself, but I can certainly come to an understanding as to why a vast majority of people fear not having someone by their side in an intimate context.

Where does the fear of being single stem from?

In my opinion, the reason for this fear of being single is multi-faceted in nature. Let’s explore some of the various sub-reasons for this mentality and behavior:

Fear of loneliness

The vast majority of people cannot be alone with themselves and this has become a major problem within the world at large.

This comes as a result of a society that doesn’t understand or teach anything about the value of silence, solitude, and the journey inward.
